Hello! I’m Noor
I'm a PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute.
I'm advised by Dr. Erik Harpstead and Dr. Jessica Hammer. I’m also a recipient of the NSERC Postgraduate Fellowship and the Generation Google Scholarship.
My research focuses on designing and developing tools that empower digital creators. I’m particularly interested in how AI-enabled systems can leverage creator data to support more authentic, personalized, and expressive creative workflows. I’ve explored this through projects in live streaming, game development, and augmented reality.
Most recently, I interned at Adobe in Summer 2024, where I worked with Ailie Fraser and Mira Dontcheva on generative AI assistants for video content creators. Feel free to contact me to discuss any potential research collaboration.
